2nd Garfield Survey
- The FINAL newspaper that was made, will be distributed today to each classroom. I have also given all of the fifth grade the Garfield Writing Attitude Survey and am steadily working on getting the raw scores and percentile ranking from each one.
I love that the students listened to each of the articles and gave feedback. I think that is a wonderful way for students to gather ideas and to revise their papers. Was Participant J overly excited because of the article? It sounds like it is a process for you just to get all of the participants in the room at the same time. Hopefully you will have a better response this time from the students when doing the second newspaper article now that they know the process and what to expect. I am excited to hear about the responses you received after distributing the first newspaper.
ReplyDeleteYay!!! Distributing the first newspaper is such a huge accomplishment! Way to go!! I have loved watching your journey. I think you have learned so much about the culture of your school and these kids! Good luck wrapping everything up! I am so thankful that I was able to watch and walk through this process with you! :)
